MILWAUKEE * Mar. 5, 2008 * When a life–size statue of Fonzie, the iconic TV character from the show “Happy Days,” portrayed by Henry Winkler, is dedicated this summer in Milwaukee, it will call the Rock Bottom Brewery’s Riverwalk location home. The bronze Fonz will be situated on the south end of Rock Bottom’s outdoor seating area (on the west side of the river, just south of Wells Street) and set against the backdrop of the Milwaukee River.
Because of your enduring support of Henry Winkler and his iconic TV character Fonzie from “Happy Days,” our efforts to raise $85,000 to erect a bronze statue in downtown Milwaukee is complete! Please check out and thank our sponsors (see sponsor page) as well as the hundreds of people who contributed by purchasing t-shirts and bronze the Fonz cookies!
Please continue to buy t-shirts as proceeds will now go to a Boys and Girls Club of Milwaukee literacy program.
Look for news on the dedication in the coming weeks.
